path of exile has rewarded gamespots’s pc game of the year award. in addition, the game has received “best rpg” from games.on.net and “best pseudo-mmo” from massively. how happy we are as the poe players. believe there is a brighter future for poe. in the so happy moment, i’ll enjoy my good archer in the game world.
as for a remote-attack classes, ranger is the best in path of exile. i’ve created a ranger who output physical damage in battle. it is well-know that physical-damage skills can recover life and mana in fights. for ranger, a bow is the ideal remote attack weapon.

in terms of my other poe items, there is no special requirement. you can choose the best according to your own class.
personally, attack speed is greatly significant for my ranger. therefore, i mainly add the attack speed, critical strike and physical damage with bow at the beginning in passive skill tree, which make my character is upgraded to level 40 without any difficult. after level 40, i increased life, mana and armour. my important keystore passives are iron reflexes, iron grip and unwavering stance.
attacking skill:
rain of arrows faster projectiles increased critical damage life leech
barrage chain increased critical damage physical projectile attack damage
defense skill: decoy totem increased duration vulnerability
aura: grace and hatred
rain of arrows is to slay a group of monsters. for a single monster, barrage is better than rain of arrow. for some of players, they may link barrage to less multiple projectiles or greater multiple projectiles. but for me, i think barrage chain is more useful in fights. you can see the difference from the following video:
decoy totem is used to taunt monsters. using hatred will add 28% of dps for my character. what you should pay attention to as archer is to maintain the proper range in battle.
