as we al know, it is a team battle. if the credits of your teams are the highest, you will be the winner. taking charge of the capture coins as soon as possible to earn credits must be a quite effective way. there are 3 capture coins in a map. once your team controls one of the three capture coins, one coin will be added to your team every 2 seconds. therefore, it is the key coin to control the capture coins. then how to capture the stronghold as soon as possible? choosing the considerate character is the key coin.
there are three capture coins in the above picture. they are windmill, clocktower and mansion. the minor strategic coin is trebuchet. for the green hand in tournament, the map is relative complicated. every character must have independent ability of adverse locomotivity, or characters with high speed. you must maintain fluidity and take the high output damage as the goal to support every capture coin.
the capture coins: windmill and mansion are relative easier. we do not want to put numbers of words on them. here we will put emphasis on the clocktower and trebuchet.
clocktower: guardian (high ar, shields), engineer (turrets), necromancer (fear, conditions), mesmer, elemantalist (with teleports, adaptable, agile)
there is a significant height difference in the clocktower. you can utilize a series of repelling and fear skills to defend and capture the strongholds. besides, it also requires a sufficient degree of resistance to survive the hostile remotely offensive players until your teammates come to assist you.
trebuchet:
operative character: thief (stealth, agile, teleports), ranger (with teleports, adaptable, agile), mesmer, necromancer (minions = meatshields)
characters with high damage: warrior (high hp, high ar, high damage), thief, elemantalist, ranger
if you take charge of the trebuchet, that means you can use fire flaming explosives to hit every coins in the map. at the same time, take care of the foes that will come to break the car and interfere with your actions any time. the trebuchet is also easy to be influenced by the drawbacks of artillery such as immobility. at this time, your teams can make use of the height difference to delay opponents, assist your companions and set traps to kill your opponents. and move quickly to mend the trebuchet.
of course, if you want to ruin the trebuchet, characters with high aoe is necessary. after all, conditions inflict no damage on the trebuchet.
