Poe Melee Shadow With Full Chill Resistance

so far, my shadow in domination has been reached over level 70 in path of exile. he is able to resist froze, chill and stun with high damage. this shadow i will share with you is the most successful in the game.

i main choose the passives to add attack speed and dagger damage at the beginning of passive skill tree. you can see them from the following picture. 
 
go up and i get chaos inoculation; down i choose t the keystone ondar’s guile. what’s the most important, i coin out chill reisistance.

equipment

let’s see my equipment, not to common as well as unique.

clothes and hat   the first important item is my clothes empyrean guardian with six links, which can add 109% energy shield for my shadow. if you have not the clothes, you can use a hat with high energy shield to add es. my hat is the unique alpha's howl. my clothes, hat and resisting cold passives can make him 100% chill resistance.

amulet    as for melee class, i consider that a good amulet is quite significant in battle. i am very lucky that i gained eye of chayula onyx amulet. with unique item, my shadow is not be stunned.

weapon   vortex spiker slaughter knife, a physical and elemental dagger, increase critical strike chance, elemental damage and physical damage. it is wonderful for shadow to use lightning strike weapon elemental damage while i use the dagger

shield    ghoul bulwark archon kite shield, just a common shield, is easily gained in the game world.

gloves    ondar’s clasp  i obtained ondar’s clasp and maligaro's virtuosity. at beginning, i didn’t know which i should use. so, i use them respectively and compare them. then i found ondar’s clasp is better than maligaro's virtuosity

as to other items, i do not show you here. you can choose then according to your character. the high their attributes are, the better they are.

skill gems
1. lighting strike multi strike increased critical damage faster attack lightning penetration
2. double strike life leech strike increased critical damage faster attack

my main skill gem is lightning strike all the time. in the early stage of my character, i use whirling blade as a secondary skill for my shadow. for me, i will change faster attack into double strike and use life leech instead of lightning strike. i often use the first gem connetion to sweep away a group of monsters. when my shadow fights against a boss, the second gem connection is more powerful. so he can fast recover life and increase the chances to survive.

most of players who like melee may like multi strike. but in terms of damage, melee skills with this gem is only suitable for lighting strike, because the gem will reduce 36% damage and the damage of the projectiles of lightning strike are not reduced. on the other hand, lightning strike can shift most of physical damage to lightning damage. matched with lightning penetration, even if the monsters, especially bosses with high es, lightning strike can cause heavy damage for them.

lightning penetration has monster reduced monsters’ resistance after their resistance has been reduced and then recovered.

increase critical damage is a third useful gem. shadow with a dagger has less 40% critical strike chances. the support gem can increase a large number of critical strike chances.
