the sunken temple of qarn is a 35-level dungeon. many players complain that it is a very challenging dungeon as there are several bosses who are all difficult to deal with. the first boss is named teratotaur. there are many details you should pay attention to in order to take him down.
i would like to separate the whole process to fight this boss into two phases. in the first phase, the blood volume of this boss is above 60%. he will use common aoe skills and summon bees. in the second phase, the blood volume of this boss is lower than 60%. a very important thing you should pay attention to is the doom. it is a aoe skill that can kill you immediately if you can not handle it in time.
in phase one, blood volume is more than 60%. tank can ran into the small room, and lead the boss to the end of the room, facing the wall. so, the dps and healer can avoid getting hurt by aoe skills. there are two kinds of aoe skills in this phase. one is in released in front of the boss in the shape of a cone. another one is a big circle around the boss. you can run away from the aoe skills very easily. not long after the fight begins, the boss will summon bees. the dps should kill them in the first time. as long as you pay attention to that, you can get into phase two smoothly.
in phase two, the blood volume of the boss is less than 60%. teratotaur will release doom which is a crazy aoe skill that covers the whole room. you will get the doon debuff once he releases it. you need to get rid of the debuff as soon as possible by standing on the lit square in the room. some players may be kind of confused about when should they get on the lit platform. teratotaur would stop walking, and put his head down during the fight, it is the time when he starts to release doom. purple fire will flash around your foot once you get the debuff. then, you should stop fighting boss or the bees, just run to the lit squres as soon as possible, and jump onto it. once you see the icon of the debuff drops from you, you are off the doom debuff safety. pay attention to the next doom and wish you good luck. as long as you can deal with the bees, and get of the doom debuff in time, you can get over this boss smoothly.
