Rocket League - Psyonix Gives All The Details About The Rocket Pass

if you remember, psyonix had detailed his roadmap about rocket league at the beginning of may. the studio had released several deadlines for various contents that you can (re) consult in this news. among them, the rocket pass, a premium subscription to access additional content. psyonix has provided all the details on this, including the price.

we already knew that the rocket pass would be offered both free for all players and premium version for those who want it. for these, it will cost 9.99 €, or 10 keys to access the premium upgrade of the rocket pass. knowing that the rocket pass will have a limited duration and that it will be renewed with a frequency that we ignore for the moment, we find it much more profitable because the number of keys we buy sometimes exceeds common sense.

the difference between free version and premium? more rewards, new loots, and an xp boost (yes the system will be changed too) to progress faster within the echelons of your rocket pass. the premium upgrade retains some exclusives such as decryptors, keys and a selection of certified rocket league items. nice thing: it is quite possible to exchange items obtained with the premium version with your friends who do not have it.

finally, the last element to take into account: the rungs of the rocket pass. when implemented, the xp system will also have a new look with xp awards (see the link in the introduction), gaining experience will allow you to earn steps within your rocket pass to maximize your chances because a high level = maximum rewards. it's as simple as that. psyonix is still trying to establish the number of steps that will make up the rocket pass but each level will require the same amount of xp, the progression will not be exponential.

the implementation of the rocket pass is scheduled for the anniversary of rocket league with the update of july, more than a few weeks before you can try it! we think this is a good thing because the system seems healthy even if we doubt that psyonix has planned a carrot to consume us. we know in advance that it will be possible to increase its level of rocket pass by buying keys ... the only unknown remains the progression curve in xp.
