since the e3 2017 it is known that rocket league will be released this year for nintendo switch. now developer psyonix has announced further details on the porting of its multiplayer hit. as part of the gamescom 2017 in cologne, psyonix has released a short trailer, which presents exclusive battle cars for the nintendo switch version. more specifically, the ‘mario nsr,’ ‘luigi nsr,’ and ‘samus’ gunship’ vehicles will be free unlockable battle-cars at launch.

if you purchase rocket league in the winter for nintendo switch, you get access to a free ‘mario nsr,’ ‘luigi nsr,’ and ‘samus’ gunship’. the team colors decide before the match which car they will receive in the match. on the orange side, a mario nsr and samus’ gunship awaits you, on the green side, luigi nsr is automatically equipped on you. the metroid car, on the other hand, has different colors.

in addition, the cars have a special boost: mario and luigi rely on the "superstar", while samus aran leaves on its wave beam. the two cars, by the way, as well as the announced customization items for mario and luigi, were exclusively designed for the "nintendo switch" version. on the pc, PS 4 and xb one, these exclusive nintendo switch battle-cars will not be available.
an exact release date for rocket league on nintendo switch is not yet available. here, psyonix continues to point only to the winter of 2017.
